Samuhik Vivah (Group / Collective Wedding)

Event Introduction
Samuhik Vivah was held for 9 girls & boys of the EWS at the MCD Community Hall of Shadipur DTC Colony, near the Shadipur Metro Station, New Delhi. The event was organized with the help of Om Shiv Vivah Samiti Trust under the overall supervision of Mrs Lovely Vasudeva, Ex Principal & OSD Directorate of Education, Delhi Govt.
13 EWS girls & boys registered for the Samuhik Vivah. However only 09 qualified the criteria & verification process laid down by the selection & organizing committee.
Vivah included all customary functions like Mehendi & Sangeet on Fri, 13th Feb 2026 and all other ritulas on the day of the wedding, Sun, 15th Feb 2026 being Maha Shivratri.
Each bride was gifted with the following: –
- Bridal Dress
- 5 pairs of lady’s suits & sarees
- Kitchen utensils – set of 51 items
- Almirah
- Double Bed
- Linen
- Sewing Machine
Each groom was gifted with the following: –
- Wedding dress.
- Barat arrangements
- Traditional Ghori (white mare) for the groom to arrive at wedding venue
