Event Introduction
8 Cataract Surgery were organized by HAFCT in association with Sharp Sight Eye Hospital, located at Aradhana Enclave, Sect – 13, RK Puram, New Delhi.
These patients are the beneficiaries of eye test done during the Free Health Check-up Camp organized by HAFCT, at Som Vihar Appts, Sector 10, RK Puram on 28th Dec 2025. Patients were examined by Dr. Sheetal Kishanpuria of the Sharp Sight Eye Hospital who advised immediate cataract removal surgery for one eye of all the 8 patients. Accordingly, the Dr. carried out all necessary pre-op procedure & eye drops for the surgery spread from 6th to 9th Jan 2026.
The surgeries have been successful and what made this truly special was the seamless process provided by the Sharp Sight Eye Hospital. Dr. Sheetal ensured that HAFCT and the patient has a hassle-free experience. The Counsellor, facilitated the follow-up with calls & documentation in an easy manner for an early date of surgery without any waiting. A one-week recovery period has been given to all the 8 patients. Their post-operation check-up has also been carried out successfully and dates for second eye cataract surgery is being planned suitably.
Cataract Surgery Charity Package
HAFCT is grateful to Sharp Sight Eye Hospital for the Charity Package of Cataract Surgery to help the needy people. The surgery package is inclusive of Pre-op check-up, post-op check-up with the required medicines.
