Event Introduction
During the Blood Donation Camp organized at Som Vihar Appts on the occasion of the Armed Forces Flag Day (07th Dec 2025) many residents donated their clothes for the needy. The clothes were clean and in good useable condition. The clothes were a mix for all age groups and for both male & female. It comprised of pants, shirts, tops, jeans, sweaters, blankets, warmers, etc.
HAFCT team organized the distribution of these clothes to the needy people of the slum basti near Sector – 23 of Dwarka, New Delhi. This act of kindness in large numbers by the residents of Som Vihar is deeply acknowledged with gratitude.
Importance of Partnership & Collaboration
The collection and distribution of clothes to the needy, exemplifies what becomes possible when Residential Colonies / RWAs and Charitable Trusts unite with a shared mission of community welfare. The Residents of Som Vihar gifted warm smiles to the people who need them the most.
