Collection Camp – Books, Footwear & Clothes
(On the Occasion of Kargil, VIJAY Diwas)

Location: Som Vihar, Sect 10, RK Puram, New Delhi
Event Introduction
HAFCT in collaboration with the RWA of Som Vihar Appts organized a collection camp for Books (story / text books, registers / copies), clothes & footwear. The event was organized on Kargil Vijay Diwas since Som Vihar is the residential colony of Army Veterans.
185 pairs of footwear were donated and deposited with Green Sole Foundation at Bawana Industrial Area for recycling the sole into useable footwear for the marginalized section of society & school going kids.
435 clothes, 10 bedsheets, 03 mattresses were donated by residents. Three walkers and adult diapers were also received from the residents. These were delivered to DAVO Old Age Home & Orphanage at Dwarka, Sector 16B.
190 books (text / story) and one side used registers & copies were collected from residents. These were deposited with Good Earth, Inch Paper Foundation for setting up Libraries in Hosing Clusters of EWS camps and reusable writing material.
HAFCT has joined hands with these organizations for the good of the marginalized section of society.
