Refresher Awareness Talk – Free Medical Treatment by Pvt Hospitals for EWS Members of the Society

Event Introduction
As a follow up of the Awareness Talk to the 170 workers (EWS / underprivileged) of the 3 – slum clusters of RK Puram – KD Colony (sector 12), Ambedkar Basti (sector – 1), Ekta Vihar (sector – 7); Refresher Talks have been organized at the Porta Cabin of Som Vihar Appts, Sector 10, RK Puram, on Sundays; of 17th, 24th and 31st May 2026.
36 beneficiaries have attended the talks. The talk covered the following salient points: –
- Outlets for Computer Centers where work is done for making Ration Cards and Income Certificates.
- List of 7 Pvt Hospitals where EWS Treatment is provided.
- Examples of problems faced by beneficiaries and how to handle such problems.
- Details of Nodal & Liaison Officers of these 7 hospitals.
- End to End Medical Treatment by Pvt Hospitals to EWS members of the society.
- Documents needed by the Pvt Hospital to provide Free Medical treatment – Ration Card or Family Income Certificate (below Rs 5 Lakhs per annum) issued by DM/SDM
- Treatment route – OPD / Emergency
- Declaration to be signed in case of an Emergency, but not in possession of Ration Card / Income Certificate at that point in time.
- EWS Nodal Officer (by the hospital) and Liaison Officer (by the Govt) is to be contacted at each hospital for such cases.
Helpline Mobile Number
Flier distributed to all present also contained the mobile number of Mr. Birendra Kumar Singh & Mr. Sujit as the Helpline contact number for the EWS patients to raise their concern / problems if they do not get the medical treatment from the pvt hospitals.
