Construction Workers Skilling <\/strong><\/h2>

(Assistant Mason)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

<\/p>

Event Introduction<\/strong><\/p>

In partnership with the Construction sites, Humanity Always First Charitable Trust (HAFCT) organized Skilling (Training & Assessment) of the construction workers. Training at the construction site was carried out for 15 days. The training was for one batch each of Assistant Mason. Number of trainees for the Assistant Mason batch was – 30.<\/p>

Training Center<\/strong><\/p>

The training center was created as per guidelines by Sector Skill Council for the said training.<\/p>

Training\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>

Qualified Trainer imparted the training skill sets. Training of Assistant Mason was for 15 consecutive days. Training was with help of Tool Kit and Machines available at the construction site. Minimum Attendance mandatory to qualify for the assessment was 50% based on directions \/ norms of skilling.<\/p>

Assessment<\/strong><\/p>

As per norms, Assessment agency was independent of the Training agency. Qualified Assessor was appointed by NCVET approved Assessment agency on the last day of Training. Assessment was based on written test, practical and viva of each candidate.<\/p>

Certification<\/strong><\/p>

In Assistant Mason 26 candidates qualified the assessment. Each qualified worker was awarded the Skilling Certificate along with a T-shirt and Cap.<\/p>

Construction Site Support<\/strong><\/p>

The Construction Site Management Team facilitated the venue, and made available the construction workers who were registered for the said training. All administrative & infrastructure support was provided at the construction site for the said training and assessment.<\/p>

Skilling <\/strong><\/p>

  1. Assistant Mason<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>
    • 120 Hrs of training is given to the candidates which includes working with tools and machineries with highest safety standards.<\/li><\/ul>

      This Training and Assessment (SKILLING) of the Construction Workers at the Greater Noida Construction Site was feasible only due to the willing cooperation of the all the agencies involved. The successful execution was made possible through:<\/p>

      • Trainer<\/strong> \u2013 Training of the workers as per syllabus<\/li>
      • Assessor<\/strong> \u2013 Assessment of all the candidates in the written, practical and viva<\/li><\/ul>
