Health Check-up Camp \u2013 <\/strong>22nd<\/sup> Mar 2026<\/strong><\/h2>

(Coinciding with Eid Celebrations on 21st<\/sup> Mar)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

Event Overview<\/strong><\/p>

Date:<\/strong> Sunday, 22nd<\/sup> March 2026
Location:<\/strong> Park Opposite Gauri Shanker Mandir, Sector 12, RK Puram, New Delhi<\/p>

Event Introduction<\/strong><\/p>

In partnership with the Gauri Shanker Mandir Committee and RWA of Sector 12 RK Puram and leading healthcare providers, Humanity Always First Charitable Trust (HAFCT) organized a mega free health check-up camp at the mandir hall. The main beneficiaries were the residents of the area.<\/p>

Space for the health check-up camp was arranged by the Mandir Committee. 84<\/strong> residents were the beneficiaries from the age groups of 09 to 90 years. Out of 84, 38 <\/strong>were females & 46 <\/strong>were males<\/strong><\/p>

1 <\/strong>retina case, 11 <\/strong>beneficiaries were recommended for further check-up at the Sharp Sight Eye Hospital for cataract surgery. 19 <\/strong>were advised check-up at the clinic by dilation of eyes for better record \/ reading of the eyes and required power for the spectacles \/ treatment (if any).<\/p>

Health Discoveries<\/strong><\/p>

Hidden Health Threats Detected<\/strong><\/p>

For 84<\/strong> community members, March, 15th<\/sup><\/strong> revealed hidden health threats. Early detection of these conditions enables timely intervention to prevent serious complications including heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, and vision loss.<\/p>

Blood Pressure & Cardiovascular Risk<\/strong><\/p>

Multiple beneficiaries discovered dangerously elevated blood pressure levels without any prior symptoms. Some readings indicated immediate risk for heart attacks and strokes. Physicians provided counseling on salt reduction, stress management, and daily monitoring. For working-age adults, this screening identified a treatable condition before it became life-threatening.<\/p>

Diabetes & Metabolic Disorders<\/strong><\/p>

Several individuals tested positive for undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes, while others showed pre-diabetic glucose levels. In Six cases random blood sugar exceeded 250 mg\/dL. Early detection enables management through diet, exercise, and medication before complications develop.<\/p>

Vision Correction<\/strong><\/p>

Eye examinations revealed numerous cases of uncorrected myopia affecting reading & work capacity of beneficiaries. Many received spectacles on-site for conditions they’d lived with for years due to cost barriers. Immediate vision correction improved both safety and quality of life.<\/p>

Vision Correction Story<\/strong><\/p>

19 beneficiaries <\/strong>who have been advised immediate Eye checkup at the eye clinic for likely cataract \/ glaucoma<\/strong> treatment or for dilation of the eyes for a better examination.<\/p>

Mandir Management Committee – Support<\/strong><\/p>

Shri Upender Sood, Pradhan of Mandir Committee facilitated the venue and community outreach for the health camp. All administrative & infrastructure support was provided by him for the smooth conduct of the camp.<\/p>
