Health Check-up Camp \u2013 <\/strong>08th<\/sup> Mar 2026<\/strong><\/h2>

(On the Occasion of International Women\u2019s Day)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

Event Overview<\/strong><\/p>

Date:<\/strong> Sunday, 08th<\/sup> March 2026
Location:<\/strong> Community Centre c\/o 244, Sector \u2013 1, Chiranjeev Vihar, Ghaziabad<\/p>

Event Introduction<\/strong><\/p>

In partnership with RWA of Chiranjeev Vihar, Ghaziabad and leading healthcare providers, Humanity Always First Charitable Trust (HAFCT) organized a mega free health check-up camp at community center c\/0 244\/1. The main beneficiaries were the residents of the area and their staff.<\/p>

Space for the camp was arranged by Mr. Amrendra Kumar at 244\/1 for the health check-up camp. 72<\/strong> residents were the beneficiaries from the age groups of 14 to 79 years. Out of 72, 37 were females & 35 were males<\/strong><\/p>

10 <\/strong>beneficiaries were recommended for further check-up at the Netram Eye Hospital as their check-up requires cataract surgery. 11 EWS needy <\/strong>were provided free reading glasses<\/strong>. 13 <\/strong>were advised to visit the clinic for dilation of eyes for better record \/ reading of the eyes and required power for the spectacles \/ treatment (if any). 07 <\/strong>opted for Blood Test<\/strong> other than the free calcium test done at the camp. 09 <\/strong>underwent the ECG test<\/strong> on the recommendations of the Dr. present from the Apollo Hospital.<\/p>

BP and Sugar was found to be high in a few cases only. 04 <\/strong>were found to have very high levels of blood sugar. They were advised immediate consultations for proper medication under medical advice. Similarly, 05 <\/strong>were found to have very high BP levels; and they too were advised immediate medical care and attention.<\/p>

Health Discoveries<\/strong><\/p>

Hidden Health Threats Detected<\/strong><\/p>

For 72 community members, March, 08th<\/sup> revealed hidden health threats. Early detection of these conditions enables timely intervention to prevent serious complications including heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, and vision loss.<\/p>

Blood Pressure & Cardiovascular Risk<\/strong><\/p>

Multiple beneficiaries discovered dangerously elevated blood pressure levels without any prior symptoms. Some readings indicated immediate risk for heart attacks and strokes. Physicians provided counseling on salt reduction, stress management, and daily monitoring. For working-age adults, this screening identified a treatable condition before it became life-threatening.<\/p>

Diabetes & Metabolic Disorders<\/strong><\/p>

Several individuals tested positive for undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes, while others showed pre-diabetic glucose levels. In Six cases random blood sugar exceeded 250 mg\/dL. Early detection enables management through diet, exercise, and medication before complications develop.<\/p>

Vision Correction<\/strong><\/p>

Eye examinations revealed numerous cases of uncorrected myopia affecting reading & work capacity of beneficiaries. Many received spectacles on-site for conditions they’d lived with for years due to cost barriers. Immediate vision correction improved both safety and quality of life.<\/p>

Vision Correction Story<\/strong><\/p>

13 beneficiaries <\/strong>who have been advised immediate Eye checkup at the eye clinic for likely cataract \/ glaucoma<\/strong> treatment or for dilation of the eyes for a better examination.<\/p>

11 beneficiaries<\/strong> who were provided with spectacles<\/strong> on the spot as per the eye\u2019s power \/ vision needs.<\/p>

Thyroid, Vit D & B-12, CBC, KFT, LFT, ESR Tests<\/strong><\/p>

07 beneficiaries<\/strong> who opted for these blood tests on 60% discounted rate. Their test report has been shared directly by the lab with them.<\/p>

Shri Amrendra Kumar facilitated the venue at 244\/1, Chiranjeev Vihar and community outreach for the health camp. All administrative & infrastructure support was provided by him for the smooth conduct of the camp.<\/p>
