Awareness Talk \u2013 Free Medical Treatment by Pvt Hospitals for EWS Members of the Society<\/strong><\/h2>

Event Overview<\/strong><\/p>

Date:<\/strong> Saturday, 14th<\/sup> Feb 2026
Location:<\/strong> RK Puram, New Delhi<\/p>

Event Introduction<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0Awareness talk for all the workers (EWS \/ underprivileged) of the 3 – slum clusters of RK Puram \u2013 KD Colony (sector 12), Ambedkar Basti (sector \u2013 1), Ekta Vihar (sector \u2013 7). The talk was held at the Basketball Court of Som Vihar Appts located at sector \u2013 10, RK Puram.<\/p>

170<\/strong> EWS beneficiaries attended the awareness talk by Shri Ashok Agarwal, Advocate & Founder of Social Jurist<\/strong>. The talk covered the following salient points: –<\/p>

  • End to End Medical Treatment by Pvt Hospitals to EWS members of the society.<\/li>
  • Provision for 10% Beds reserved for EWS and 25% OPD for EWS members.<\/li>
  • Documents needed by the Pvt Hospital to provide Free Medical treatment \u2013 Ration Card or Family Income Certificate (below Rs 5 Lakhs per annum) issued by DM\/SDM<\/li>
  • Treatment route \u2013 OPD \/ Emergency<\/li>
  • Declaration to be signed in case of an Emergency, but not in possession of Ration Card \/ Income Certificate at that point in time.<\/li>
  • EWS Nodal Officer (by the hospital) and Liaison Officer (by the Govt) is to be contacted at each hospital for such cases.<\/li>
  • Details of 10 pvt hospitals around RK Puram to provide FREE medical treatment to EWS patients.<\/li>
  • The contact Nos of EWS Nodal Officer & Liaison Officer of the 10 hospitals was also shared with all present by way of a flier.<\/li><\/ul>

    Helpline Mobile Number<\/strong><\/p>

    Flier distributed to all present also contained the mobile number of Mr. Birendra Kumar Singh as the Helpline contact number for the EWS patients to raise their concern \/ problems if they do not get the medical treatment from the pvt hospitals.<\/p>

    Advocate Ashok Agarwal very kindly consented to help in all such matters where pvt hospitals are not providing the medical treatment to the EWS persons.<\/p>
